Practical information

Conference venue

The conference room is located in the "Buisson" building at ENS de Lyon, Descartes campus.

 The entrance gate is located at 19 allée de Fontenay, Lyon. Beware, this is not the main entrance for the Descartes campus. The conference room is just across the hall from the entrance.

Inscription to the events

• Registration for the mini-scool and the workshop are free but mandatory.
  
• Face-to-face participation is preferable to promote interactions but we will try to set up a video system to allow those who cannot travel or who do not wish to travel to follow the talks. Please contact us if you want to follow the presentation remotly. We will send you by email a zoom link for the visio Sunday evening, September 18.
  
• Transport and accommodation costs are the responsibility of your organization, which will take in charge of  your mission, except for the speakers. Coffee breaks and lunches will be offered, as well as one conference evening dinner (to be held on September, 22, please register).
  

Travelling to Lyon

• By air: the closest airport is Lyon Saint-Exupéry (LYS). Geneva may also be an option.
• By train: Lyon can be reached by fast train (TGV) from Paris (2h) and Marseille (1.5h) and by local train from surrounding cities (including Geneva, 2h). Train stations are Lyon Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache. Tickets may be booked online here.

Please consider travelling by train if possible: you can compare the carbon footprint here (train emits roughly 20 times less CO2).

Getting there

From Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport:

• Take Rhônexpress train from the airport to Part-Dieu railway station.

From Part-Dieu railway station:

• Take “Vivier Merle” outdoor
• Take the underground - line B - towards “Oullin”
• Exit at “Debourg” stop.

From Perrache railway station:

• Take tram T1 towards “Debourg”
• Exit at “Debourg” stop.
